Should I ask him for the money now?

I let this guy I was talking to barrow a good chunk of money and we got into it the other day and haven’t talked since, I was expecting him to at least be a little nicer and appreciative but I was wrong he was still an ass, it was never really discussed when he would pay me back only that he would, I know he gets paid on Fridays and today is Monday so should I wait and see if he pays me back that day or ask him now since he’s not talking to me?
Should I ask him for the money now?
