What happened to picking up girls at the club I am in my 40 s never had a problem now I lost my ways do u have to get online and be scammed how do u no if it's real with not meeting?

I live in country Australia feal to old goin out getting drunk like I use to do go to. Clubs etc and online just not real. Probs have to find some social gathering of some kind

I'm not sure how you are being scammed online. I can only imagine though. I'm guessing some of the profiles you are interacting with are not real and therefore there will never be a meetup. If that isn't what is happening, maybe add some detail in an update to the question.

As far as picking up girls, much easier to approach a girl in person at a club then trying to arrange that sort of thing online. I never did online dating because of all the bad experiences friends had.

Now, I don't mean just try to chat up any random girl at a club. You need to be able to spot those that are maybe in a group of friends and you notice them interacting with other people at the club. Maybe you see a girl you like and notice she will dance with people. That is one that would be worth approaching.

Another thought is ditch the club scene and find some local activity groups that interest you and you can meet likeminded people that share that interest. Super easy then to strike up a conversation since you already share a common interest.

You don't necessarily need to go onto online dating sites but it does help. You might be choosing the wrong ones?
If you do opt for OLD, you need to make sure you plan dates so you can meet them properly and gauge if there's any potential there.

I got divorced in my late 30’s and started dating online. Don’t waste time texting. If a woman isn’t interested in meeting, forget her and move on to a woman that wants to meet you. I never had any worry about being scammed. But then again I wasn’t fantasizing about some beautiful 22-year-old in some foreign country.

The problem is you’re 48. No matter how good you’ve kept in shape and taken care of yourself, you’re just not as appealing as younger guys. Not to mention girls who are significantly younger are like: “go spit game somewhere else grandpa.”

dating doesn't get better as you get older. Dating at 38 will always be better than dating at 48. I wouldn't recommend dating apps. I would recommend joining a hobby club, going to social events where you get to socialize with people somewhat close to your own age. You're most likely going to find romance this way.

If you could pick up girls when you were a young man, there are plenty of women your age that you can pick up. Unless they are big girls, women below their mid 30s are not available to you.
