How do you feel about dogs?

I recently seen my friend start talking to and casually dating this guy. She asked him one day if he'd like to meet her dog. He promptly replied, No, I don't like dogs, or cats or any other pets."

For me, personally as a lover of animals this is a deal breaker. What is your opinion?

I think honestly everyone has its personal preferences… personally I’d like more an animal lover person, since I think an animal lover has usually a more kind heart.
I’m more a cat person, I don’t like dogs so much since I feel them invade my personal space, but I don’t refuse them. Sincerely I don’t like very much people who don’t like animals.

That would be a deal breaker. I like dogs and I also like cats. Even so, after my own dog died, I swore that I'd never have another pet. it was just too painful to risk repeating.

I love dogs, but I love all animals, so of course dogs are included. I feel it would kind of be a deal breaker for me as well. I mean the person doesn't need to have or get a pet, but I would love if they at least love, care, and appreciate animals.

Deal breaker for me if the person I'm considering doesn't like animals. We have a fundamental and irreconcilable difference in personality.

Also my House Panther will be very cross. He demands only the best of human servants.

I have 5 cats and 1 dog. If I'm dating someone that I found out they don't like animals I'd break up with them
