Is it normal for girls to dye their hair when they get into a relationship because their boyfriend has a "type"?

I have seen this more than once. I had a friend who is naturally blonde and she got into a relationship with this guy who is notorious for liking brunette girls. She dyed her brunette for the duration of the relationship and then when they broke up, she went back to blonde again and has stayed that way.

Another girl I know is a natural brunette and her new boyfriend likes honey-blondes usually. This girl just happened to dye her hair honey blonde like his ex-girlfriend as soon as they became official.

Is this normal?

you saw two girls doing, I've seen at least 2000 girls not doing this at all
