Why do my coworkers care more about me getting laid or a girlfriend more than I do? I find it anoying on how you they are trying to probe my sex life?

A couple of guys and women keep asking me if I have a girlfriend or when the last time I got laid. Isn't that too personal 😕. They, tell me to hit on girls from work but most of them are taken.

It's just bugging me honestly 😒

It is too personal if you decide it is. You can tell them it’s none of their business and if they persist you can probably report them to HR. Your life outside of work is only their business in as much as you permit it to be. And even if you do permit it, you have the prerogative to determine how much and when. Like even if you get together with some of them outside of work and talk about dating and such then. You can still expect more professional boundaries at work and on the clock. Just be honest with them, and they should knock it off.

They think they’re just trying to help and they mean well, but you should politely ask them to stopping ignoring them on this topic doesn’t do the trick. It’s one thing if you want their involvement, but if you’re tired to hearing about it, they need to respect that.
