My girlfriend broke up with me over these things and I don’t think it makes sense or is reasonable?

I invited her to a party that my company was going that celebrates Diwali and first she said no to my public marriage proposal because we had only been on 8 dates. 😔

then after I already bought tickets for us to go to sandals in Jamaica she came to my office earlier when there was going to be a party later on and she was weirded out by the photo that I had photo shopped at a ski trip from two years ago where I put my face in place of her ex-husband with her and her two kids. She said that was really weird. She said that I was a sweet guy but that it wasn’t going to work out or whatever and dumped me. I don’t get it.

What she means is... even though that is my EX and I love or hate him... those are still her memories with him. You two are to make your own memories together. The time with her Ex may have not been the best time BUT imposing yourself in her past is a little odd. Worry in the Future as that was you too, however, it seems that she has placed you in the past too. It is kind of Creepy move.
