Do you think he is interested?

So I met this guy on a dating app and we started talking. We have been talking for about a week and I enjoy talking to him. One day he didn't reply for a whole day, and I thought maybe he was busy, but the next day he said his phone stopped working and he could reply and that he was sorry. We started talking again and about a day after that we didn’t reply for 3 whole days. Im ok if he doesn't reply beecause he is not Interested, but he replied again saying his phone is not working well and that he had to get it fixed and that was the reason he didn't reply those 3 days. He also said that he was going to close the dating app and that he would love to keep talking to me, so he gave me his number. I send him a text yesterday (whatsapp) at like 5pm and he didn’t texting back (even though he was online). He sent me a text today just saying “heey, ☺️you did text me” (kind of sounded like he didn't think I was going to text him and he was a little surprised). I dont expect him to text me right away all the time, but it does feel a little like he is not interested. Do you think he really is not interested at all in talking?
