All the guys who approach me are superficial or not compatible but all the guys I approach are confusing. Why can’t I connect with a genuine guy?

Whenever a guy approached me he’s usually superficial with no hobbies and quick moving which I can’t work with. They’re not bad people were just never compatible, I don’t even types that walk up to you in the first place. I tend to like more nerdy guys or academic guys and I’ll go up to them but they’re always so confusing and receptive when I talk to them but never come up on their own. It stresses me out and confuses me and now all my friends are getting boyfriends and I just want a genuine connection. Why can’t I connect with a guy that acts interested in me the same way I talk to him?

Check with guys in the friend zone. That's where a lot of the genuine relationship guys are most of the time unfortunately.

Okay then try some dating apps. I promise you there lots of genuine guys out there just waiting for a chance. Unfortunately those are the guys that keep getting ignored a lot of the times. Keep your spirits up. And word of advice, don't try to go to bars or clubs because that is a bad place to look for genuine people from my perspective when it comes to a relationship.

I think I’m cute and I definitely don’t have issue getting approached by a fair amount of guys, my type just never does. I do anything artsy mostly painting, singing, dancing, pottery and such I’ve been into all that since I was very little.

There are plenty of guys who share those hobbies and search in creative places, clubs, conferences, artsy places, and universities. Try to initiate casual conversations first about mutual hobbies.
