Ghosting is the coward's way of saying, "I'm not interested in you, so I'm going to disappear and hope you forget about us."

I used to be hurt when people ghosted me, but now? I shrug it off and act accordingly. Find someone that knows how to communicate instead of hiding like a child, or better still, wants you in their life.

I have been meeting people online for friendships and dating, I can tell you that over 90% of these people are not decent people.

Living proof right here: and I don't just mean dating. "Friends" are guilty of this too.

People are just rude nowadays! Rather than saying they're no longer interested in talking or seeing you again, ghosting is the "polite" way to detach themselves from you.

its not just ghosting. ghosting was probably the most benign of all the shitty experiences I've been through meeting folks from online. Trust me, people in real life you meet at work or school tend to be of significantly higher quality. Not always 100% better but I'm speaking in a general sense.

From my experience, people only go online when they can't find a date in real life. So this means the internet is filled with scumbags, perverts, creeps, attention seekers, guys with issues. Either they're in this category or they are huge introverts. Huge Introverts who don't have a social life at all which is why they have no other choice but to go online. I've been "breadcrumbed". I have been "stood up". I have dated guy who had mental issues / passive aggressive/ selfish. I have met guys who "mansplained" on me. I've went out with guys who had absolutely no understanding of manners or basic social etiquette: One of them made an offensive joke about my race right in my face and expected me to laugh with him. I have went out with guys who tried to use me for sex.

If a guy has decent social skills, knows how to talk to people, is not crazy or doesn't have some really inherent bad quality, he really would have no reason to go online.

Don't get me wrong. There are decent guys online. Its just that there are more bad than good. I come from NYC so I get a huge variety here. Trust me girl, I wished I would have known about this earlier so it would've saved me from so many bad terrible experiences and dates. I'm so jaded right now. This doesn't only go for dating, it also goes for friendships as well.

Because i never take anyone seriously unless they show me that they actually worth it, i never cared about getting ghosted at all. The faster they ghost me, the better!
Also, the ones who ghosted me are all a 6/10 so why would i care? I’m a 5/10 and i know how to act about it too lol
