I want a big diamond. Marriage is a huge sacrifice for me.
No, absolutely not.

Diamonds are just carbon. People that pay big money for them are morons. Industrial diamonds which are manufactured cost about three cents per carat, yet a jeweler will sell you a one carat diamond ring for $2,000 to $20,000. While diamonds are hard and useful for cutting softer materials, there is nothing to justify their price. While carbon isn't the most abundant element on earth, there are still a couple billion tonnes of the stuff laying around. A lot of people claim it's a problem for the environment because we have too much of it in the atmosphere... They call it pollution... They say it's toxic. Yet people want to put it on their finger because some advertising team told them it would make them special... I wonder if the same people would stick their finger up their butt and wear poop on their finger if and advertising executive decided it was expensive, luxurious, and exclusive.
I don’t care for the diamond size. I would prefer smaller ones, to be honest. Bigger ones seem too gauche and unnecessary. I like smaller, elegant ones. I have smaller fingers too, so a smaller diamond would look better on me. Regardless, the love my partner has for me would matter way more than the size of the rock.
There's more than size. A clear and colorless stone is much better than a clody yellow stone with inclusions.
Anything over 2cwt is too big for most women's fingers in a single stone.
My ring is a 1.25 cwt nearly flawless and colorless diamond on a yellow solitaire setting. Sometimes I just stare at the rainbow of colors it creates in the sunlight.
So don't go too big, but get a great cut with good clarity.
This is probably shallow, but yes it matters but that does not mean bigger is always better, to me there is a size that is just right, I don't want to say the carat number because it might annoy people or make people question their own ring or a ring they bought. In my mind it should be big enough to show commitment but not what I would consider super big.
Buying diamonds is like throwing money away. A diamond is forever said de beers. But it is forever only because you never get rid of it since it has no market value if not new. If you want an engagement ring, get anything else as long as it's not a diamond.
If its a diamond then its good enough. Dont get me a cheap ring but I don't expect a magnificent ring either. If your fiance complains about a small diamond, you better reevaluate marrying this person.
It’s not wrong to like nice things. But if you measure love in a ring. Then…. I don’t see much as far as the heart goes.
I know. Idiots are going to come argue with me about it
Nope!
Actually, I prefer small diamonds because my finger is small so if I wear a big diamond ring on my finger, it would look ugly and I would be uncomfortable.
What matter is how the ring would look on my hand. I think the quality of the ring also matters, it doesn't have to be that expensive tho. You can still buy an affordable ring but with great quality.
But I think all women had a different opinion, I guess just pick what you think fits her more.
From what I have seen what matters more is how expensive it appear when compared to her friends and co-workers rings. It is more about showing people up.
Doesn't matter. I don't even want a diamond. It yells "Come rob me, there's more where this came from"
its the thought behind it that counts for me, size means nothing
Anyone that would vote that size matters is not worth marrying to begin with.
I want a nice looking ring but I don't care for big diamonds.
What's up with all these questions about sizes of diamond? It's like an insecurity or something lol
I think the design/setting of the ring itself would matter a lot more to me
She wants the biggest diamond she can extract from him. Gotta flex for the gram after all.
Diamonds are a business scam model anyway. If you plan on getting them, get lab grown ones. Half the price often.
Kinda makes you wonder if rock size or dick size matters more!
Call me weird, but I don't like diamonds.
The size doesn’t matter to me.
I don't even want a ring
