What does this guy want from me knowing I’ve got a boyfriend?

I used to be friends with benefits with this guy for a year. At some point I asked him where he saw us going and he didn’t seemed very keen taking things further, instead said he was working on his career. He’s a professional pianist, travels a lot for work so I understand it can sometimes be difficult to be in a relationship. He went on tour and eventually we fell out of touch. During that time, I met someone and now we’re dating. At some point we got back in touch and we stayed just friends. We text regularly and he calls me. As 2 friends should. However, recently he confessed he can’t get me out of his head. He’s met with other girls but they’re not as interesting as me. He really enjoys talking to me and misses us. I asked him why he didn’t say this at the time and he replied that he was shy and too focused on his career at the time.

friends with benefits... that you caught feeling for and he rejected you and now he wants to revist the supposed relationship that wasn't. He just wants to get back in your pants, he might really care for you... but like you said you have a boyfriend so why are you entertaining this stuff.

Obliviously to him you are not just freinds, so stop pretending that is what it is not and do the right thing. Either break up with the boyfriend and fuck this guys brains out or stop talking to this person.

I move on with my life, but obviously your not all that happy with your boyfriend or this would be an easy no brainer for you... screw this guy he sound self absorbed and more into himself, and what's he wants then concerned with your happiness. You keep talking to him and he will weasel his way back into your bed, because you are already thinking about it or you would of posted this... so in a way you are already cheating on you boyfriend.
