This is the text message i got from a potential boyfriend of mine: “Happy birthday darlinn your the greatest gift someone could have and you’re worth every penny I love you I hope you have the best day ever and make the most of it and enjoy it”. The only line that i’m confused about is the “you’re worth every penny” i don’t really get it, he’s never paid me anything, and i didn’t say anything about it although it’s still on my mind. I’m I overthinking it? 😭

i think he is just saying you have a lot of worth? another way of saying "you're so worth it" or "you're enough" it seems very genuine to me :D
