I have no confidence in asking girls out or even talking to them unless they are mutual friends. how to I get the confidence?

Say to yourself life's too short. When you see someone you want to talk to take a breather and go for it. Try to put your mindset as if you're speaking to a shop assistant or somone you know. Also to gain confidence maybe wear things that you really really like, smell nice so you feel nice and happy it may help when speaking to someone new or that you like a little easier and you won't worry about how you look etc.

Most importantly, just take the chance if you stumble your words it dosen't matter, it may be embarrasing to think about for a while but if they like you after win win if not then you gained experience on how to handle the situation better next time.

I still struggle with this myself and i'm older so don't worry to much. I hope the tips I gave may help a little.
