How to get a guy (online) to ask you out on a date? Is he not that into me?

Im so confused cause this guy has texted me and was putting in some effort and texting me every day and then he stopped for a week maybe I think he wanted me to reach out but I didn’t and then he reached out again so we began talking again. He flirts with me and I flirt back. I really like this guy but the thing is I hate the whole texting scene and I want him to take lead and ask me out on a date so we can actually get to know each other in person. Any tips to subtlety give him a hint that I wanna get to know him in person without me having to ask him out? I like guys who take the lead. Or do you think he not that interested in me? How do I get him to ask me out?

No, just invite him to a meeting. You need to meet him to know if it's with continuing. Otherwise you can waste many hours texting only to find out that you aren't attracted in person.
