Guys, attractive older woman or unattractive younger woman?

Guys, what would you prefer, going out with an attractive older woman (40+), or an unattractive younger woman (39 or younger)? Your age can be anything at the time, but would your age be a determining factor in your decision-making? Obviously, you would think that you would be pre-programmed to think that a younger woman regardless of attractiveness level to be more desirable, as she would hypothetically be the one who can still produce kids (not that that's necessarily on your mind when you ask her out).

Well. It’s hypothetical. So I don’t know for sure. What I would or wouldn’t do.

Number one. Depends on who they both are. If she’s over 40. If I want biological children I better tie the knot down quick. If the less unattractive woman was a good woman. I could love her.

Now if I just flat ain’t attracted to someone. And I am to someone else. I would rather be with someone who I will be happy with point blank.

Yeah, well, that's too vague, Of course men would rather date an attractive 41 year old than an unattractive 39 year old, but what if it's 50 and 30? If you want kids, the 50 year old isn't who you want to date. And there is so much more to a person than their looks.

While attractiveness is a factor in a relationship, I think the personality is more important. But for the sake of this argument, if they both had good personalities I’d say the attractive older woman. While at 31 my age isn’t too far apart from these women, I’d say I’d go for a bit of an older lady if she brought more to the table than a younger woman.

I choose the attractive old woman, because even if I can't have children, I still wouldn't have children with an ugly woman, that would be dooming my children.

Not even close. The attractive older woman who is far better at most things than her younger counterpart. Much more mature and composed sexually, confident in herself, more emotionally stable and willing to compromise than younger women. So in your scenario there it would be easy to pick a much more attractive older woman than an unattractive younger one. However, if the younger girl is more attractive, that can change everything. How would I know her age until we were already in a relationship? I go by looks, intellect and personality. I don't care about body count, either.

I would date someone older than 40. there's no point in dating if i don't feel attractive to anyone younger. I would be in my 40's too, so definitely I would date someone my age rather than going for someone younger

For me the kids aspect doesn't come into it as I don't want them and if that changes well adoption is an option. For me It would be hard to say as I maybe attracted to the older woman but the age aspect would weird me out unless I was near that age. Where as with the you get woman at this point I'd be closer to her age but I wouldn't be attracted to her which wouldn't work for a relationship so. I guess it basically depends on how old I am in the scenario. But it would more likely be tje Oder woman.

You would have to be more specific with the ages. As someone said, if the difference is a few years, I prefer the most attractive. But if the difference is abysmal, surely I would choose the unattractive one.

Both are completely unacceptable to me. I won't date someone I am not attracted to and I wouldn't consider someone close to 40 at all either. (Past 30 is a no from me and anything less than a 5 in looks is a no at any age.)

At my age, a 40+ woman is not an older woman for me, but it's the woman I would prefer. If I was much younger, I would still prefer the attractive 40+ woman. I'm sure she could teach me a few things.

I would take the younger woman. Because I just can't really see myself in a relationship with an older woman. I always see them as an aunt or a big sister.
