It all started two years ago, when we met the guy at the same time, I thought he was cute and I kinda flirted with him, and then my friend (girl) asked me if I liked him, and I told her that he was nice, and asked her if she liked me and she basically said “no comments”, and I told her that I felt that there was something between them and if it was like that I wouldn’t come between them, but she was like nah lol, don’t worry.
Some time later they started dating and I knew it because the guy told me, and then later after that she also told me.
So I stayed friends with both and never had anything with the guy, and I gave him advice with the relationship, etc.
So after like a year and a half they definitely broke up (because they had broken up maybe like 3 times), so I was comforting the guy cause he seemed affected by that.
And we continued to hang out I could always sense something between us, I tried to kind of ignore it, but I did notice some flirting sometimes and I got a little nervous but tried acting as if nothing happened and as normal friends.
So the other night we went to a party together, and we were dancing closely and we both wanted to kiss but none of us did anything, so we danced like an HOUR with our lips at a distance of 2 cm. And then finally he kissed me. So we talked a little about the situation and he told me that it’s not really that bad, but I don't know, it’s been maybe 4-5 months since they broke up, and the girl is dating another guy too.
Can I get some opinions/advice?
