How to have a good conversation with an introvert girl?

There's this girl that I really like so much but she's an introvert. She rejects my invitation (dinner for example) most of the time. I can't open a good conversation with her because I'm afraid she would reject me if I tackle a question about her personal life that she didn't want to open up. Any suggestions on how to have a good conversation with a introvert girl? Thanks ☺

I don't think that asking about her personal life as long as it isn't TOO personal. That is something that is pretty common to ask about when going on a date or hanging out. If she is rejecting dinner invitations, she is either not interested or doesn't have the time to go on dates.

Either way, that is an indicator that she is not likely to open up. Why is she rejecting offers to go to dinner? Does she ever say why she can't go? Just curious and might provide context to the situation.

What I would do is think of a few topics that you know she will be interested in. You must know a little about her if you have gone out with her before. What is she interested in?

Maybe she likes reading for example. You can ask about her favourite book or something and get a conversation going with something she likes talking about. Maybe she has other hobbies you know of. My point is to pick something that you know she likes. She will be more likely to open up and talk about it.

As an introvert, I'll give you some advice-

Introverts hate small talk and meaningless conversations. Personal questions are fine- once we know and are comfortable around you.

In other words, ask about her interests, hobbies, things she likes and use that as an opportunity to get to know her. Eventually she will open up but DON'T force it!
Just because you like her doesn't mean she's going to open up right away, she has to feel like she can trust you and be herself around you first.

The thing I always try to do in awkward situations where someone’s quiet is to totally focus the conversation on them. Think of all the things you know about them, and ask them all kinds of questions that you’re interested in. Get them to talk about things that they do, Things they enjoy doing, let them know you are interested in them. This breaks the stereotype of the loudmouth guy who wants to dominate the conversation. It also will show that you’re not a meathead who’s just trying to get into her pants. You’re going to look like somebody who is genuinely interested in her as a person. Like you should be by the way. The second tactic I often employ is to tell my dad some pretty embarrassing stories about myself or lighthearted ones to break the ice. Things that are funny or that were embarrassing at the time but you can look back at now and smile, that kind of thing. It helps a person relax by letting them see you as a human and fallible. With introverts, deeper questions are often better than superficial questions, so asking her questions on her opinions on friends and relationships is a good idea. If at first she thinks that's intrusive, share your own opinions, and ask he what she thinks of them. Or talk about how astrology can be a great way to feel more comfortable around someone you don't know to well (and allow her to be the one to tell you that astrology isn't always accurate). As long as you show her that you are as observant (like introverts tend to be), and show a good long term memory of positive things she's done in the past (could even just be the clothes she wears), that will go far in making her feel more comfortable around you.

Small talk is super awkward but find out her interests. We introverts tend to show our interests very openly, but are very wary of those who dig too personally. Find out her favorite drinks an interests. If you ask on a date try a cafe. Many of us are nerds, so finding s nerd cafe with fun stuff to do besides awkward conversation helps immensely. I have a local comic shop cafe that has board games that i tend to use as a go to spot for dates. Talking over playinga board game tends to ease the tension.

The most important thing about introverts is you have to accept THEIR schedule. So, the best thing you can do is give her your number and say, “Call me whenever.”
Then always take the call whenever practical.
Introverts aren’t lacking in social skills or conversational abilities. The difference between introverts and extroverts is that introverts’ social energy drains with contact while extroverts’ social energy fills with contact. Of course, most people are ambiverts on a long scale.

Easy, always start with "Hi". She'd be surprised you noticed her. You'd know cos her eyes will light up.

Then next, say..."I'm Mark and you are..."

Then talk about where you guys are.

I am an introvert with attachment problems. Maybe try to get to know her, by asking important questions, but also don't interrogate. Just take it slow and don't play with her, maybe if she can see she can trust you then she will open up more

What are her hobbies or interests? Learn about one or multiple of them and start a conversation about it. Introverts only want to socialize if it's meaningful and has a purpose. Give her a reason to respond by taking about something she's passionate about, that's your best bet.

Try to do stuff she loves to do… eat dinner at her place but keep it very casual like watch a movie or something that she doesn’t have to be open or talk about… then she will open up
