So about a month ago my boyfriend and I both mutually agreed to skip our last class of the day and go hang out. My parents haven't really enjoyed the idea of me dating him cause they think he isn't my type, but I really do like him. So I feel like I have to sneak around to see him, and this has just made my parents more difficult to accept our relationship. Long story short, my mom found me and my boyfriend in the parking lot just goofing off. My boyfriend apologized to my mom on the spot. And honestly I'm surprised he is still my boyfriend after all of this. I wasn't allowed to text him or any of my other friends including my best-friend for two weeks. Then I still couldn't text my boyfriend but I did get my friends back. Well now a month later I have contact with him again but we can't go out anywhere. This is really hard on me cause we go to different schools so I can never really see him.
But now my parents want me to apologize to his dad for skipping school. I have only met his dad once before, so this is pretty scary to me. The thing is that my boyfriend skips school all the time and his dad and step-mom don't care. He can just stay home from school whenever he wants and now that a month has gone by it seems really awkward and belated. My parents said they might compromise but I don't know what a compromise might be. But they won't let me see him without apologizing. I really don't want to break up with him but my parents are being so difficult with every little thing we do, that I'm not sure tis worth it anymore.
