Me and my now boyfriend have known each other for almost 18 years, we were next door neighbors, went to the same school, college and even chose the same major! We have a lot of things in common and we work very well as best friends, but somewhere along the way we found ourselves attracted to each other, and slowly we pulled till we we got here. But I’m not even joking sometimes i gorget that we r dating, i get so caught up being friends while we r talking that the idea passes me, and i don’t think that this situation is necessarily healthy for out desired relationship. I’ve tried to fix it with more date night but I don't know, i think we r not well oriented of the fact of us kissing while we talk, i talk to him as a best friend not a boyfriend

Yes, in fact, you have the best of all possible worlds. You two will get married.

Spouses should be best friends before they are married. It looks like you are already there so it makes sense that you shouldn't be married to anyone else.

Reminds me of the Academy Award-winning Best Picture "The Best Years of Our Lives" which should be required viewing in all high school history classes. Homer was the boyfriend of his next door neighbor Wilma. He went off to WW2 as a sailor, but came back losing both his arms (as did the vet actor who played him). Before the war, Wilma and Homer were going to get married. When Homer came back with hooks for hands, he felt he needed to let Wilma go. Wilma was hurt as she does still want to be with Homer. In one touching scene - probably why the movie won Best Picture - Wilma is with Homer in his bedroom. He explains to her what his life is like and, without his hooks which he takes off for bed, he's as helpless as baby and can't even open a door. Wilma sticks with him though and they get married at the end.
