Why do SOME people reject you and then come running back when you have someone?

not to get into long stories involving myself or someone else. Why is it that someone would reject someone. Then wait until they found someone and go back to them?

Even begging them? Like. You had your chance. Like go away. Obviously they say no and like get angry.

Don't know what they have till it's gone, plus some like being wanted and desired even if they have no interest in the person. Once the person leaves, so does the validation and that can create Jealousy. It's best to leave such people behind
