What should I do about my boyfriend bet?

So I made a bet with one of my friends. The bet is I can get a boyfriend before Christmas. If I don't I give my friend 10 dollars. The only guy who I kinda know is Andy and I don't like him anymore. I told my friends to go ask him to date me and he said fuck no and I don't know what to do I have classes with him tomorrow.

What you do is: you walk in there with your head held high, like there's no reason to feel weird or awkward. You say hi to Andy and/or his friends (if you normally would say hi to them) while looking them in the eye.

If you "take control" of the situation, then you can help to actually shape how the situation REALLY IS (in the eyes of others).

So if you walk in to class tomorrow, looking at your shoes, while blushing... and generally looking awkward/embarrassed, then... THAT'S going to give Andy and friends their cue. They will see it as having been 'embarrassing' for you... if you seem embarrassed.

If you can walk in there and give a phenomenal acting performance of: "You... clearly NOT embarrassed" Then this will be forgotten by everyone really really quickly.

Poker-face 'em.

As for the bet itself? I donno. Just don't make some poor guy think you're his real girlfriend if you're only dating him to win your bet. I feel like I probably don't need to mention that... but here I am saying it anyway.

Find a guy that’ll accept 5 dollars to pretend to be your boyfriend. You win the bet and of the 10 dollars you receive, you both get 5 dollars each. Plus you get the kudos of winning the bet.
