Go on a date without one day prior communication/some hours before confirmation or not?

When you bave planned a date with someone (that they proposed in the first place) and they do not text you at least one day prior or do not mention/confirm it at least some hours beforehand, do you go regardless or just not show up?

What are the time limits for beforehand communication you put in order to actually go to the date?

I keep my commitment and go. I expect the other party that proposed the date to be excited and smart enough to contact me 1-2 days out. Has it been no contact at all?

It's been minimal contact yesterday, with my last message being delivered till now. And with the date being on Sunday, there's just one day for further communication and/or confirmation

There should be a last confirmation either Saturday night or early Sunday in my opinion. Things can change and if no one says anything…I’d expect there to be no plan anymore
