One step at a time.
I know I'm young, so my opinion on depression may not mean much to some. But I've been through my share of bad times.
The one way forward is through. Go slow. Be kind to yourself. And understand that it's a process.
A broken leg doesn't heal overnight. It's going to take a while. But even if you can take just one step forward every day, you will get through it.
Some days you won't be able to manage a single step, and that's ok. Because tomorrow is inevitable, and it will bring more chances.
Trust is difficult, but at some point you'll have to start again. It's a gamble, and you may get hurt again, but you can't win if you don't play.
You will be ok.
I lost everything that gave me my identity and I feel like a failure. I lost my boyfriend and my job. I have an annoying family and my friends don’t care. I feel too unhappy.
Then it sounds like this is the perfect time to really start thinking about who you WANT to be.
Your identity isn't defined by the things around you. It's defined by you.
Spend some time with yourself. Really look inward and find the things that that you feel define you. And if you aren't sure, start trying new things. Start a journal.
Hell, start an Instagram/TikTok/YouTube channel and document your journey and discoveries. Take it slow though if you go that route.
You are the only person who is allowed to define your identity. Don't let anyone else even try. Own that, and take power from it.
I don’t want to do any of that. I just want my job back where I was making a lot of money and felt confident. I don't know I don’t really care about anything anymore. I just want to stay inside and be a recluse.
That's understandable. It's important to feel confident and if your job gave you that then I can understand how the loss can be painful.
But wanting something you can't get back isn't good for you. I'm not gonna say to just get over it, because that's not realistic. But if you can't get that back, you need to find something that makes you feel confident. And you're only gonna find it if you're looking.
I just talked to my brother and he said that whatever I’m going through can’t be as bad as whatever him and his wife went through.
Sorry you are not happy, it will get better I promise why don't you trust people
By trusting me.
Not thrusting. That's for spaceships.
Don't be afraid of change.
I mean see if you know what caused it. If there is something within yoirselfbti fix.
Maybe things will go back to normal.
Maybe things will change, then don't be afraid of the change.
