Whats makes someone a dating expert? Seriously, you go online or TV they say "dating experts, say," what makes them qualified?

I’m a relationship coach and I never liked the term expert because of how many people think it means I know everything there is to know.
However, what I believe makes someone an authority or leader in a specific industry, area, or niche, is years of study and practice. If applicable, they embody what they’re selling. In other words, a dating coach should be skilled at vetting for matches, getting dates, and leading those dates into a strong relationship. They should be able to demonstrate that themselves and for their clients.

Probably someone whose been happily married for a long time. Proof they know how to, at least in part, keep a relationship going.

Just like with weight loss. You go to fit people and ask about their routine. What the efforts involved are to be fit.

Want to play guitar, ride a motorcycle, etc. find an actual expert.

10,000 hours of practice. There really are no degrees or certificates for becoming a dating expert. I have been one for over 20 years. I have easily over 10,000 hours in the subject to include hands on practice with clients. I have plenty of testimonials to back it up and it's up to the person who needs help to vet the dating coach properly. Some are great and some are shady due to the lack of regulation in the space.

I would just recommend to listen to whoever has a love life similar to what you want. If you want to get multiple hot ladies or guys and fwbs, find someone who has lived that life. If you want to be married long term, maybe find someone who has that.

That's good advice, depending on what you want ans are looking for. Just take any ones advice with a grain of salt, when it comes to love and relationships.
