The woman I’m seeing just blew me off last night. She messaged me late at night to reschedule a date for next week, how should I reply?

A woman I’m seeing just blew me off last night, last second because of a family emergency. A fight started with her family because she hasn’t been home, is what she told me. I asked if she’s free later in the week and she replied “I’m really not in the mood” “next week promise” this seemed weird to me and just seemed like she didn’t wanna see me. Then I got a text just after midnight saying “Tuesday! I’m off Tuesday!!” “I’ll come over Monday night.” Obviously I want her to come over but I don’t wanna seem desperate either. Was thinking of replying:
1. Oh yeah?
2. Verrry enthusiastic lol! (Just cuz it was sent like that)

How about, "That sounds good! Check back with me this weekend and I'll let you know if I'm available."

Geez, she obviously felt bad about canceling on you and is trying to make it up to you. And you're over there trying not to seem desperate? Dude 🤦‍♀️
If she didn't like you, she wouldn't put that much effort in to see you after canceling.

She even told you she wasn't in the mood to go out, yet she's making an effort... for you.

You better show a little enthusiasm before she takes your attitude as lack of interest in her.

Hmm, true. I always put a little disclaimer as life happens: you may have work, family, or something come up and have to reschedule.

But if you're sure you're available? Go for it!

Verrry true. So I wrote back earlier today, saying, "Downtown, James Brown". Just a little saying, I use meaning "I'm down". Sometimes I joke around and that's how I talk. But also, if she was like what, it could be a slight conversation starter. She hasn't said anything, hope that wasn't dumb lol.

From all the friends I’ve know over the years every time the girl they were dating said same thing, the girl was seeing someone behind their back.

Hopefully that’s not the case for you, but it’s very possible, unfortunately I’ve seen it happen to many times.

I said I’m down! But I find it so odd that this woman barely messages me. Even just a few times through a few days. Meanwhile I know she’s on her phone cuz of her socials. And my buds keep telling me is she’s into you she’s message you a LOT MORE! She doesn’t care that much tbh
