It is such a terrible feeling especially when he has done it more than once and told you he would never do it again but then he gets mad and does it again. It just hurts and I don’t feel like I would ever want him to do anything else for me

This is a form of manipulation, narcissists use this tactic. Doesn't mean he's a narcissist but it's something to look out for.
