Ladies, How do you feel if you are approached / asked out by a guy better looking than your boyfriend?

How do you girls feel if a really good looking guy asks you out (way better looking than your guy) if you have a long term boyfriend?

She gets attention a lot as she is really beautiful however I'm very much average joe.

I get a lot of compliments about her regarding my looks from her and she does her best to reassure me so but suffer from body dysmorphia due to an incident from my childhood / bullied in school for looks etc

I really do trust her but my thought process is that maybe she'll realise one day she can do so much better and let me go.

She said she loves me for so much more than looks, that I make her laugh, feel special etc. But I worry she could get that with another guy who is far more attractive than myself. The total package if you will.

Since I am single, not interested in dating and avoiding all kind of possible conflicting situations, I would act exactly the same like with any other unwanted approach by a guy (or a woman).

I immediately tense because I am fully aware of what the ultimate goal of that guy is. The final aim is obviously to get into a girl's pants as quickly as possible, mainly those guys in the age group 16-50 (give or take a few years).

Anyone that reacts positively to the approach of another person even though that person is in a relationship tells me that the relationship is on the brink and that she/he is only waiting for things to happen.

It is usually not a good sign if the partner pays attention to another person because that only signifies that he/she is unhappy and is not likely to do anything to stop that person from flirting and possibly more.

If the relationship is strong, then the victim of those approaches will obviously reject any attempt.

I find it a pity that the looks is the only factor that is important to a great number of people and that they don't look past this ephemeral shell.

Well, this is hard to answer since I think my SO is the total package. I would not have married him otherwise. Now, let's just look at the scenario though. If I were approached by someone and hit on, I would politely just say that I am married and not interested.

If the person was persistent, I would remove myself from the situation entirely. It is really that simple. I am not interested in anyone other than my spouse and he knows that. He doesn't have any insecurities about other guys as much as I have insecurities about him with other girls.

There has to be a level of trust in a relationship for it to work. His best friend in the world is a girl. That is fine by me. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I have some close guy friends. Again, not a problem for us.

You have to remind yourself that she is with YOU and not someone else. If she wanted to be with someone else, she would be. You cannot go through life worrying "what if" and trying to second guess her actions.

That was never a case for me, my ex was definitely one of the best looking men I’ve seen…

It’s the downside of dating an extremely attractive person, when and if they turn into your exes, it’s not easy to find someone better.
