Do you or did you also find it weird in your late 20's dating someone who is in his 30's?

This might be weird haha but like for some reason I find the thought of dating someone who is in his 30's weird.
I'm just 3 years away from hitting 30 myself and usually date men who are 2-6 years older than me lol
I guess this will go away when I meet a man that I'm actually interested in... 30+ seems so "old" and mature, but then again... I'm "old" myself haha

I'm asking this cause at my new work this man shows interest and I would smash but then he said his age and my brain went "ain't that too old for me" It's not but my brain acted like I'm 21 for some reason lmao

Am I alone with this?

People i know in the 22-32 bracket are looking for full head of hair , grey line or two on the side, professional or lucrative (Electrician/HVAC) blue collar guy that rock solid rain snow, 110 degrees that they can respect..).

They seek the 30-40 adult male crowd that preferably has been married once and without child... OR single, mature, and family envisioned. About half are fertile Myrtle Christian home schooling girls, you know. And the others are "pretty City people" looking solid blue collar MAN types... Southern or Midwest accent preferred and anything but Brokers and Bankers...

Actually, I've NEVER believed my age. In my mind, I'm always in my 20s. And this is NOT unusual!

Yea i’ll be 28 soon but I still prefer men in their 20s. When im 30, i’ll go for men in my 30s. I just prefer to have been a 0-3 year age gap and am kind of ocd about sharing the same first number lol

I look at a lot of people I'm wondering if I could date them. Dating is kind of fun but it also is a lonely game. Wondering if you can find that right person. It doesn't matter what age you are as long as you're compatible with that individual. We had this nostalgia that is not cool to date somebody younger than we are or older than a certain age. We need to stop and look at other avenues. Most of the women I am known in Europe are dating men 15 to 20 years older. I also know women that has dated and married men 6 to 8 years younger than them. It doesn't matter as long as you're compatible with them. So go out and enjoy yourself. Don't worry about the age difference.

Once you hit 21 it shouldn't matter who you are dating. If you want to date an older person then good on you. If an older person can pull younger dates (anyone above 21) then good on them. I really dont get the whole thing with dating around your age group. I thought dating is about finding someone you can chill with. Besides once you hit 21, age doesn't really matter anymore.

When I was your age I would have thought it was weird… but that 30 mark does hit pretty hard. Now it’s just a number… I mean I do still feel like I’m 21-25, it varies on occasion. And then I remember and I’m like… dang if I did get old…

It's not weird. Some people do prefer an age gap. Gal Gadot once said as long as your relationship makes sense to you it's alright. It's a relationship not a community project.
