I reconnected with my high school crush ten years after I graduated. In high school he never gave me the time of day. He told me he had feeling for me in high school and still do and I asked him why he never told me and he said because of our age difference. He was a senior (18) years old and I was a freshman (14) years old. We were in the same elective class and that’s how we met.
Anyways, flashback to now 2023 he is now 32 and I’m 28. We reconnected he took me out on a date and then we ended up hooking up at his apartment. The sex was terrible and awkward. It made the crush I had for him fade away and I kept ghosting him. Recently I gave him another chance and it was the same awkward and terrible.
Afterwards, we cuddled and talked and I realized I know nothing about him besides what I knew from high school. That person I knew doesn’t exist anymore. He wants to continue to get to know me and date me but I’m on the fence our connection is not the same as it used to be. Should I give him a chance?
