Could this have messed it up?

Few days ago this girl gave me her number without me asking. Even texted me next day. I added her on snap. She replied to my story as well. I was at bar last night with friends, sent her snap of me drinking with friends, she replayed and responded, thought it was funny. I was drunk but didn't seem to have mattered, she knew I was drunk. Instead of just keeping up the convo I asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime. Could that have messed it up? I just feel it really wasn't smooth, it was out of the blue, and it was over snap. It seems kind of clingy to me and might make her loose whatever little interest she could possibly have had. Or should it not matter?
