I think it will increase the rate at which shallow relationships occur, like one night stands and NSA for a short period of time. It will also increase the amount of bots on dating sites as time goes on, and eventually be better for dating because of that.

As women get burned from online dating, and pull out of it, then men can't get laid from online dating and pull out of it, dating in general will get better as actual and perceived choices are reduced which leads to less casual relationships and more work put into individual relationships.

I know personally I did not take women that I was with seriously at all because there were so many more that would come to replace them like a river moving through the troughs of a water wheel. If at any given point in time that river would have been a trickle, each turn of that wheel would have become precious rather than worthless.

Does that make any sense?

Oh, I think it'll be bad then, bots and catfishing are the fuel for people to meet IRL. An 80 year old I know thought he was going to date a model until it turned out she wasn't even a model prisoner lol. It made him start looking at the women close to him again rather then the ones looking like pop up ads.

People posted their best photos that may or may not represent how they look currently, some people might not want that, I can see how that could be bundled in as a tier product feature in Tinder for those looking for something real

There is nothing wrong with taking advantage of technoloy if you reconize the limits of what it can do. The single biggest problem young people have with dating is their obsessive reliance on texting instead of actually talking to each other. Texting is a poor way to communicate, it creates misunderstandings, and it delays people building confidence in their relationships.

Maybe if the actual company uses chatgbt if it's the users using chatgbt to come up. with responses and stuff then that to me feels dishonest because it's the AI that you're then basically talking to. Lol

Yes well, I see things differently since Im a software developer and without going too deep its basically an api (application programming interface) that will be used internally as a process rather than a product or feature. But your concerns for someone using ai to talk to you is real, people are using chatbots now, even in real life with AR (augmented reality) glasses, where AI is telling them what to say in real time as they are talking with women

As near as I can tell ChatGPT will be used to create content. We can expect a lot of people will instruct ChatGPT to “create a dating profile that appeals to women.” This will basically ruin the internet and make it difficult to discern what is fake from what is real. So eventually, the only way to navigate this dystopian future will be to rely on networks of real-world contacts, such that you know you are dealing with authentic content instead of fake content. Given that the elites who run the US have done all they can to break up any actual communities and familial networks, and AI is about to destroy the utility of online dating, this leads me to believe we will see the rise of matchmakers who personally interview and vet singles before offering potential matches.

I've been using ChatGPT for a while now for work. I can tell you it's the least romantic thing around. I think it'll ruin whatever little chance you started with.

Some people use ChatGPT to reply to questions on this site. You can tell because they are long-winded (3-4 paragraphs) ambiguous and often use complex words with perfect grammar. I just don't think that's appealing to anyone in a normal conversation.

Chat gbt is akind to witch craft being science, problem being that its not terminator level but rather a reply based on machine learning which is essentially a model feed data, what im saying in English is that its not sentient but rather just responsive which is important to know to disillusion the idea that we are further than we actually are, see my point, what im saying even more plain English is that ai is not like we are, rather its simple a chatbot thats been refined
