”women can get dates so easily” (disregarding the fact that having a lot of shitty options means nothing)

It's not just men, but also women. It's likely due to a lot of women and men who bad experiences with the opposite sex, but are eating up shit given to them from the internet/social media. They also are likely insecure in some way and are bitter.

Also, the U. S. has became divisive in political beliefs, so I think that's rubbed off on a lot of Americans who use the internet.

The majority of men are invisible to most women as proven by data from dating apps. This combined with hoeflation, and high prevalences of obesity and single motherhood in the male population means a lot of men are frustrated. Over 1 in 3 men is either a virgin or hasn't had sex in over a year. I'd be passed off too if I were one of them, feminism and political correctness be damned.
