I've noticed this myself. I am short, about 157cm tall and despite living in a country with rather tall people, many guys especially the very tall ones opt to date short women like me. Even I experienced suitors that were rather tall, yet they still seemed interested in me.
I don't know whether this particular feeling of mine is common and whether it isn't a self esteem thing, but I feel kind of "unworthy" of their attention? It's probably silly and it definitely sounds wrong, but I cannot help it. Why would they choose a short woman like me when they fit and look better with taller women?
Simply said - why date short women if you are one of the very tall men and even a tall woman next to you is pretty much tiny?
