I have this girl I’m seeing in another city, sorta long distance. Im supposed to take a vacation with her but my work schedule has been messed up lately. I’m only scheduled for shifts every 2 weeks and have to rely on people calling in sick to get hours in order to survive.
I have full shifts scheduled this week. So in order to take a vacation with her I’ll need to cancel and I most likely won’t get more shifts.
Recently this girl I’m seeing is behaving frigid and don’t want sex. She keeps making excuses every time I drive to her city. She gave me a heads up that there will no sex on this trip because she’s on her “period”. Should cancel my shifts and be super broke to go with her? Or should I just ditch her so I can work?

If you made a prior commitment with her, don’t just ditch her. I understand the shifts thing cause my work didn’t schedule me for a month and a half, but think about it from her perspective. You’re her and you’re all excited to go on this trip with this guy you’ve been seeing. You’ve got lots of fun activities planned for the trip and you might be all packed when you all of a sudden get this text. It says that this guy can’t go and your heart drops. Also think about if you had a daughter one day and someone did this to her. Be the type of man you’d want your daughter/sister/mother to go out with.
Stay and work. It sounds like you can’t afford a vacation.
I would discuss it with her to try to find the best solution for both of you. Remember that you’re partners in your relationship.
