I honestly wouldn’t. I would hate putting my future partner through that mess. Now, if it was casual dating/sex, I would go for it. Nothing long term.

If they really decide its something they want to go down the road I dont feel I got the right to block them to not hurt them, they chose there path and if they try and it dose not go anywhere that be fine as well

I had a dating anxiety, I have rejected lots of guys in the past because I was scared. After break up, I decided to face my fears and that’s why I’ve been on dates. I was trying to make it less scary for me, to make myself ease up for the time when I meet someone special and I don’t want to feel scared on a date with him.

So, yes, I’ve been on dates, even though I knew probably it wouldn’t lead me to anything serious.

I broke up 10 months ago and got back into dating scene 5 months ago. In these 5 months I briefly dated 5 guys, but rejected the dates with the guys I was the most attracted to. I had a fear I wouldn’t be good enough for them. By dating around - I was trying to get over my break up and get over my dating anxiety. I never gave them any expectations and I was always offering to split. I think at this point I am not that scared of dating anymore. Now I would like to try to get over my biggest fear, dating someone I find absolutely interesting, amazing, hot, sexy and out of my league. If I feel confident on that date, I’ll stop dating because I’ll know I overcame the fear of meeting men and I’ll not date anyone until I meet someone I can really picture myself having relationship with.

I think I'd have an open conversation with them about where I'm at. See where they are at with what I've said and maybe there's a way to move forward together that will leed to something more in time. That way you're getting to know each other while you get yourself into a better place. Shouldn't rush into something anyway right?

Nah, nothing like that. I just think it would be the best if said guy and I didn’t get together. Although, I’m worried he will keep pursuing to start a relationship.
