When you go out to dinner with your partner, how do you decide who pays?
When single and dating…the guys always paid. One or two didn’t…that didn’t work out…not surprise.
The one I married…always paid… soon…I too contribute…dating is suppose to be fun and considerate…nice gesture go a long way.
after married…joined accounts…well…he merged our accounts.
my scond hubasnad lol… I met him on gag… he split the bill…I was like whatever…since it’s not a date…well… we started to date…he didn’t have a good job…I paid… he too tried his best to be a gentleman..:and paid often.
we are married now and we have our assets/incomes combine…so it doesn’t matter at this point…
I don’t like counting pennies … once I know his finance situations.. I know how to manage. It’s working out well.
Well rn he usually pays bc he likes to drive us there instead of taking the bus, so he's the only one who needs his wallet. Also he likes being assumed to be the one in charge. Also he technically pays for most of everything no matter, since it all comes out of the same bank account anyway & he puts more in there than I do rn lol
Imagine being in a relationship just to be used as a walking ATM. What a simp
@WhiteBoyChill lol imagine assuming money is the only thing that matters in a relationship. What a gold digger.
Well clearly in your case, it is an important factor
@WhiteBoyChill why? Explain. Y u think u know my relationship better than me based on 1 peice of information (that /I/ told /you/)
You just said your guy likes to pay for everything. I don’t see why the “strong independent women” of today can’t just cover themselves
@WhiteBoyChill lol where did I say I was strong independent woman? U just pulled that out ur ass. For all u know we could both be practicing traditionalists. & Why would him liking to pay for things make him a simp, especially when it's linked to the idea of being in charge in the relationship? What, u think it's simp behavior to like being in charge? To be truly "alpha" u have to be submissive to ur wife? Is that rlly what ur wanting to imply here?
Yeah because traditional women support abortions
A truly confident man doesn’t need to pay a bunch of money just to “feel in charge” he just actually takes charge of the relationship.
@WhiteBoyChill ofc fully traditionalist women likely won't support abortions. But someone who's in a traditional relationship absolutely could. U can practice something urself and not feel the need to force it on everyone else. Or, i guess i can. I don't know about u...
& of course he doesn't /need/ to. Thats why I didn't say that. Lol. It's like u almost having good reading comprehension. But yeah, when I said "likes to" I meant "likes to." 👍
but now I am curious, what do you think it means to be in charge in a relationship? Not "take charge", but to be in charge naturally & consensually, without having to /force/ ur partner into submission?
What even is your definition of traditional?
And yeah, I just can’t understand why a guy likes blowing his money like that, especially on such unappreciative and nasty women as yourself.
Don’t think I just suddenly forgot about our interaction the other day. I have no reason to believe there’s anything positive at all about you.
I was trying to have a respectful conversation the other day, and yet you decided to be rude and ridicule me just for having a different opinion.
I can almost 100% guarantee your boyfriend is just doing everything you say because you can’t even so much as tolerate a random stranger on the internet with a different opinion about abortion without descending into insults.
Maybe you just had a bad day, maybe that wasn’t your regular self.
I’m giving you a chance to apologize, if you’d like to but if not that tells me everything I need to know about you and who you are as a person.
@WhiteBoyChill ngl I recognized ur username, but I don't even fucking remember our other interactions. But if it went anything like this one is then I totally understand why I would call u names. U didn't even answer any of my questions from the last reply. But I'll answer urs anyway.
By Traditional in like a relationship, I just mean husband has outside work, wife has inside work. Husband pays bc wife has no job or money of her own. Wife raises kid bc husband isn't home except in evenings. Husband's in charge of finances and family decisions, wife in charge of home n kid decisions. Yknow, just traditional roles.
As for him "blowing his money like that," i guess he just doesn't see enjoying a meal w his wife & kid as a waste of money. In fact, he sees providing for his family, being able to do little nice things like that without worrying about affording house or electric, as kinda the whole point of making money. What else would he spend it on, 5 more aquariums? Lol it's not like he can't do what he wants bc he's spending on me. He is doing what he wants with his money, and part of that is spending on us.
As far as my attitude, I sorry that u think I should be more polite to a random stranger who thinks I'm nasty than my husband who I actually know and love each other. Must be a sad life to reserve all ur good behavior for randos instead of people in ur actual life. 🤷♀️
@WhiteBoyChill if u want I'll apologize, sure. I am sorry that I don't remember. I know it doesn't do my side any favors to seem bitchy to other side for no reason. 🖖 I like to be tolerant as far as reasonable yknow
Alright whatever. I just still get the impression that you’re not even somebody worth spending money on.
And yeah maybe your husband can deal with you, but I sure as hell couldn’t. So be it though. He just really must not be a self confident guy but that’s more his fault.
@WhiteBoyChill well every relationship has challenges, but that's not one of ours. I don't talk to him like I talk to u, obviously. I actually like him, and he yknow, likes people in general. Thinks they should have rights n shit. He's like actually a good person, and rlly cool, n stuff. So it's not like I have any reason to insult or be mean to him even if I wanted to. 🤷♀️
But still, if you are rude to a complete stranger just for having a different opinion, than why does he still find you worthy of respect?
People that are not respectful towards others, deserve no admiration for themselves.
He must be dying for female affection or admiration or something.
@WhiteBoyChill nah lol. He's super nice—way nicer than anyone else I know—but even he doesn't care if I'm rude to people who are against human rights. ✌ people who don't respect other ppls rights don't deserve respect themselves.
& no, actually that's like our only real problem rn. But u don't need to know all that lol
Abortion isn’t a human right though. It is straight up termination of life. An act comprable to murder.
I don’t care how you try and justify it, it is still an act comprable to murder.
I believe in the right of a fetus to live. That’s what I place more value on.
You had your chance to live and make choices, but the fetus never did.
But yeah as far as I’m concerned any guy that supports your version of “womens rights” is a complete pushover worthy of no respect either.
But hey, like-minded people tend to date. Low quality people date other low quality people. So it ain’t no surprise to me.
But seriously though, what a cuck
@KrakenAttackin Imagine being this insane.
I won’t support crimes against humanity under the guise of it being human rights.
Call me crazy, but I’m not a psycopath.
@WhiteBoyChill honestly even if u do think abortion is comparable to murder, making it legal and safe and educating about birth control and sex—at younger ages—does WAY more to lower the amount of abortions than bans. All bans do is make the parent AND fetus MORE likely to die. Bc surprise surprise even when medical care isn't legal, its still needed.
But let's leave it at ur one speel about abortion, my one speel about abortion, & let it go bc I've never talked to an anti-abortion person who was able to accept facts they didn't already agree with even when provided with sources. And im sure you don't have any hope of me accepting what you think are facts either.
Anyway. U can think he's a cuck all u want, that doesn't change facts (like that he's pro-choice for way more personal reasons than I am). We have everything we planned on having in life and we're doing exactly what we want w/ our life. I hope one day you'll be able to find someone who makes you happy too. Something you can do that makes you happy. Makes u look forward to getting up in the morning. I wouldn't wish a lifetime of loneliness or misery on anyone. (Although not having a partner or job u love doesn't mean you have to be miserable or lonely, many men who think like you seem to think it does.)
@WhiteBoyChill This is most women. Even after marriage they keep their money and just spend more of his money.
@KrakenAttackin oh shit are u guys together? Well ig that would make sense if u both don't like women. Congrats I hope it works well for u 💙💚
@KrakenAttackin Oh don’t worry. She’s clearly with some delusional guy anyway.
Just notice how much she talks about herself. I’m surprised any guy could put up with that. Clearly some guy with not a lot of self-esteem. And of course, its the guys that show personal weakness that the women eventually divorce. What a sad life for that m*therfcker.
Shucks, I just wanted to show him how insanely narcissistic you are. I didn’t realize that makes us both gay.
@WhiteBoyChill he says "u argue like a little bitch lol" ✌
@WhiteBoyChill well what am I supposed to assume when ur shitting on my relationship and call someone else over to join u? Seemed implied u thought ur relation w him was better than my relation. If u just called over some guy that just seems weird. Like how is he related to this discussion at all if he's not w u? But whatever u never made sense b4
Gee well maybe I just wanted him to see this discussion because quite frankly, I was shocked just how insane you are.
I wasn’t sure if your behavior was normal female behavior or not, but according to him he’s seen this stuff before
Also keep that loser out of this, I don’t want to have to keep thinking about how little fcking testosterone the guy has in his body.
@WhiteBoyChill oh, okay so u just called him over bc he has actually fucking talked to women b4 so he wouldn't be so fucking clueless about it. That's fair. Can't blame u for not having any women in ur own life.
& why u upset I "brought him in"? I thought u said I was being selfish only focusing on myself. 🤙 he's curious what ur standards even are for a good husband now. Dw tho I told him I already asked u but u didn't wanna say, u just wanted to talk shit 🤷♀️
@GOLDFISH_smile and maybe the reason I don’t have women in my life (besides my mom and my sister) is because I don’t exist as a people pleaser. Its either people accept me as I am, or they can forget about me.
Only a cuck needs to go through his life, earning the approval of women. My views are unpopular. Most women are pro-choice. The minority of those that are not pro-choice tend to have zero issues with me being “sexist” or “misogynist” or anything like that. As a matter of fact, I have the respect of at least three women on this site I can think of already. I can’t tag the username of one of them, but its marish01 and the other two are @alice55 and @alwayreckles93
So yeah you can cry me a river about all this “oh you don’t got any women on your side” stuff 😏
And I’m only upset you’re bringing him in because I don’t like associating with low quality men. Also it isn’t your job to fight his battles for him. He can get his own account and speak for himself if it’s that important to him. As for me, I could care less what impression people on the internet have of me. Only a low self-esteem dude would let that stuff get to him
@WhiteBoyChill yeah I told him ud dodge the question again lol. Whatever I get it, ur not here for real talk ur here to fling shit. Okay.
The only women who respect u are ones who don't respect themselves. By your own, explicit admission: the only women who can stand being around you don't mind mysoginy and sexim. What self respecting woman would tolerate being seen and treated as an inferior, as subhuman? Zero. And ur so fucking delusional that u think a man not being sexist or mysiginistic is the same thing as him being okay with misandry and being treated w sexism. U see equality as men being oppressed. It's not, honey. It's men AND women being free. Neither of us have to degrade ourself or "tollerate" or take shit from the other. We don't have to "earn the approval" of each other, we literally just accepted each other as we are. We're together by choice. Something u can't understand apparently bc no woman would ever freely choose to be with you. You think treating women as anything more than objects and tools for ur own will is "seeking their approval." Im so sorry for every woman in ur life.
@WhiteBoyChill oh he doesn't give a shit what u think. In fact he doesn't care is why he's not even on social media. ✌ u think u know him so well but u literally miss with every shot. He just think ur a sad, funny little man, & we like having a little laugh together yknow? 😋 like u have no problem seeking out "low quality" women to associate with, but the minute it's even suggested a man might interact w u u freak out lol. "Low self esteem" this, "low self esteem" that, as if it's some contagious disease. He just chillin fr y are u so pressed about him?
Lol you’re taking words out of my mouth and I never said I viewed equality as men being oppressed. But yeah, I’ve been complimented on my appearance a couple times before (without having asked) so surely I’m not undesirable to no-one.
And no, maybe instead of other women not having self respect, its actually just that other women are more socially intelligent than you on matters pertaining to life.
I find it ironic you say I don’t present any evidence, when you never present any yourself. LMFAO
And if he doesn’t give a shit what I think, than why did you say he was trying to ask me questions earlier?
I don’t answer to inferior men for that matter.
@WhiteBoyChill @WhiteBoyChill I'm not the one who came jn throwing shit now am I? U came onto MY comment, made all sorts of wild accusations about MY husband, and then u get angry when I say "actually that's not correct, like I personally know the man and u dont, and that's not true about him." Like how can u think IM the one who needs proof here? Lmfao
also. 1. Being physically attractive does not make YOU as a person desirable.
2. Any socially intelligent woman who has t he misfortune of interacting w u literally becomes dumber every time she makes eye contact w u & every time she understands a word from ur brain. I'm honestly giving a big sacrifice just to talk w u rn 🙊 I can physically feel myself becoming dumber. Luckily my husband has the opposite effect, so he's acting as an antidote to ur brain melting capability just by sitting next to me playing little word games on his phone :)
& 3. He wasn't talking to u that time (that's that's I didn't use quote marks), he was just curious lol. He actually said something like "I bet he thinks any husband who doesn't rape or beat his wife is a cuck. Has he said that yet? Or is he one of those 'he shouldn't beat her, but she should let him rape her bc he /could/ beat her if he wanted to' fuckers?" And I said "I don't know wtf he is, I asked but he won't say. All he wanna about is u, he's totally obsessed lol" 💅
Well, I’m glad I didn’t break your ego, but you surely didn’t break mine either lol.
I find it ridiculous how that mfer thinks I’m some kind of wife beater though 😂.
Get a life dude
@WhiteBoyChill lol to be a wife beater, ud need a wife 🤣 so obviously he doesn't think ur a wifebeater. Personally I absolutely think ud love to beat the shit out of any woman u could get ur hands on, that's just the vibes I'm getting. But I know that's just me making assumptions. I have no reason to think ur ACTUALLY that type of person, bc u still haven't given me any information about what u think a good relationship or a good man is 👀
Well a good man is a protector and not an abuser, so I’m glad I could answer your question there. It takes courage to defend so I don’t necessarily see that as being a simp move.
@WhiteBoyChill well I'm glad ur trying at least to answer now, appreciate talking instead of yelling. I'm not sure what u mean by "not necessarily" being a simp move tho. What would make protecting ur wife a simp move instead of a good man move?
Well that was just a poor choice of wording. I don’t consider it a simp move in any situation. With the other things I was saying from earlier I just didn’t want it to be manipulated to support an opposing view, is all I meant to address there
@WhiteBoyChill ah okay. So protecting ur wife is always good man behavior. Cool then I hope u r a good man, and I'm glad I have a good man. 👍 💜
Yeah, but some of the other stuff about your husband did concern me though. But perhaps its best I just apologize so we can move on from this.
I am glad you are happy with your current situation. Best of luck to you!
@WhiteBoyChill would be nice to move on. Thanks I hope ur happy w ur situation too, & again good luck :)
@WhiteBoyChill Yeah, she reported my other comments. On some level she knows what she is.
@KrakenAttackin bro nah, what other comments did u leave? I didn't report shit I thought u were just quiet or i scared u away or sum💀
@KrakenAttackin I wouldn’t be surprised tbh
@WhiteBoyChill that's actually my ideal scenario, especially if she's also dating another guy who is allowed to have sex with her.
It usually goes back and forth. I pay a lot of the time, but if the girl wants to take me out for a special occasion, then se usually pays. I try not to argue on that one because one time a girl wanted to do something nice for me and I tried to pay and I really hurt her feelings. Not many people have done nice things for me, so I have a hard time getting used to that one.
Generally split the bill, that's the norm in my country.
Sometimes I offer to pay, it's usually turned down.
Sometimes one of us pays a portion and the other rest without splitting along what we ate or 50-50.
It honestly happens quite naturally.
Opinion

I earn about three times her salary and I don't expect her to pay anything.
I would ideally like him to pay every time. Unless we’re celebrating his birthday or something I’d like to treat him. I think money is silly but as a man, him paying makes me feel like he’s taking care of me and that is something I look for in a relationship. As a woman, I would always buy him clothes or even cook for him etc. I’d take care of him in other ways.
when i was dating i always offered to pay and was glad to pay but also hoped to be dating someone who wanted to split. i wanted to see that they wanted to and could exercise financial independence.
now i'm married we just toss a card on the table (doesn't matter whose) and call it a night
Whoever asks out for the date, pays. If I invite a guest to a restuarant it's expected the invitor to pay to feed the guest. Same goes for dates. If a guy asks out a girl on a date he pays, also vice versa.
Can u ans my qs please thankss
What do you guys actually think when you text ''I miss you so much''? ↗
I voted "they always pay" though it's not exactly true, it's mostly true, he always pays unless we have some special reason for me to pay that we talk about in advance. For example I paid when I was trying to use a credit card enough to get a bonus.
@ShellyB I'm a longtime aficionado of the sugar daddy/fin domme/pay pig genre, and may I respectfully suggest that you consider the possibility of making the acquaintance of a submissive male pay pig who is seeking an arrangement for couples who are interested in being served, spoiled, etc, by a beta male wimp who lives to please others?
@Billlewis damn
They normally pay, except if we catch them off guard and get to pay before they get the chance
In my family everyone wants to be the one that pays (some can't as have truble, but when they can they try)
If we arm westle ot the one that wins pays likely, even that most likely while doing it one of the parents go pay while we are ocupie its how it gose
Ahhh things were so much easier when I was young. The man ALWAYS paid. End of story. And the women liked it because it made her feel pampered and cherished. And the man liked it because he wanted a woman who felt that way.
Now you have to tell your date what your pronouns are before you go out!
There IS no God!
Being a dedicated wallet is not for me. And neither are gold diggers. It feels objectifying to myself.
Once I see a girl really likes me irrespective of the money, I'm ready to treat her.
I don't like feeling like I ultimately bought a girl's love by paying unless it's a courtesan.
I'm still single.
I always offer to pay. However a lot of the time, the lady will pay her part. But I never ask her to. Heck, I've even had a date pay for all of mine! LOL...
We're married and share checking accounts that have debit cards either of us use to pay for our meals.
So, it doesn't matter who physically makes the effort to pay.
We're both paying.
With my wife, we share money so we are always both paying. In other cases, it depends. If its a fairly equal situation, we split. If its unequal (say I'm taking a grad student to lunch) I'll offer to pay but accept if they want to split
Oh i meant to say “they always pay” ur poll statements r kinda confusing. Gentlemen always pay for their girls food unless she offers
If already in an offiical relationship, then it was usually with a “you want something?”... whoever asks that is basically offering to pay. Otherwise, braaang ya own change
It's much more exciting and fun to be take turns asking and taking the other out. Especially if there's a bit of spontaneity to it. Getting call or making call, "Hey how bout we meet up at X and have a bite?". Getting and giving the call is two different kinds of giddiness. And treating someone and being treated are both wonderful and different feelings.
He always pays unless I insist on paying. That usually happens every once and a blue moon.
Way it should be. He's lucky to have you
I will go for my money and if she doesn't say or do anything then I will pay unless we talked about it before hand.
Sometimes she will offer, so I will pay and tell her to leave the tip.
It's a kind of odd moment when the bill comes.
I always pay. I like taking care of my partner that way. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do anyway and I prefer to conduct myself with charm and class. 🥂
Taking turns is ideal if you’ve been seeing each other for a while. Personally, I’d pay for my share and they can pay for theirs. They don’t have to pay for me. I like paying for my own stuff.
If I’m in a relationship, I’m always gonna pay when I plan to go out to eat or we both plan together. If it’s her idea, she’ll pay.
I cook 5 star meals at home so why would I ever eat at restaurants!
Usually, the person asking the other person out pays, except for special occasions, then you pay for the person if it is their special day.
A joint account means it's just a matter of who can be bothered getting their bank card out for us, so about 50/50
I pay for what I ordered, unless he is acting all high and mighty and insists on paying for everything.
i usaully pay by giving a blowjob... no man ever complains about that
@chrissykerdock. That's fair enough.
@KrakenAttackin i thought so... so do they
I live in a country where gender roles are clearly defined. The waiter will bring me the bill, I earn 5X more than her, i always pay.
Depends on who does the inviting. If I invite someone out to eat i automatically pay because I'm the one who invited the other person. I wouldn't invite them and expect them to pay that would be rude.
This is my opinion as well.
I pay for what I ate, she pays for what she ate.
Why anyone does anything else, I will never understand.
partners, man always pays, me, unless she offered. then immediate agree.
My husband normally insists on paying, but there are times when I do get my own way!
We take turns but just for fun. We share our money so all comes from shared accounts
arm wrestle is not fair. the woman will always pay lol.
I like to pay for myself but if he force me not to pay then i'll pay next time or at least try too
He should always pay. But, she needs to at least offer to, to show she's not some money grabbing whore
This ^^^
Fr so true
Just get this courteous man to pay for the bill and away they go 😄
I always pay.
Why?
Good woman
We're married in a joint property state and it comes out of the entertainment budget.
With new love interest, I give him a death glare when I want to pay. Or tell him, oi I'm paying this.
When I dated she paid because she'd get a glass of wine and legally then I couldn't buy it so I'd cover the tip
I used to always pay, knowng what happens to guys who don't.
@KrakenAttackin On the plus side, it's a great way to get rid of a woman you never want to see again...
Truth!
If we are out together he always pays but if I’m picking up some take away for us I pay most of the time.
I'm a man I prefer to pay. It makes me feel better.
When we were dating I always paid now I make my wife pay.
When I was working, we would always split it. But now I'm not, my boyfriend pays :/
It's all the same money. LOL. We don't keep separate accounts, we're in it for the long run.
This works for my boyfriend and I, we don't keep track of who payed last but simply go one who's idea it was, if he asks me to go out he pays and if I ask him to go I pay.
Whoever asked whom out. The asker pays. Who the hell would ask someone out-then want the other person to pay?🙄If the other person wanted to pay for something, they'd go get it themselves and save money.
We split the bill every time although I always offer to pay. If I insist to pay, she said she’s not going next time. I hope she’ll eventually let me pay once I put a ring on her. My stubborn independent little lady. Love her so much.
Take turns. Shit, I wouldn't even want to find out how the arm wrestle would end up!
By my nature, I did not, and never will, pay any woman who was with me.
I make way more so it comes out of my account but she pays with my card. I don't know why. She always grabs the bill and then I hand her my card.
He usually always pays but, I like to treat him as well!
We take turns sort of. I tend to pay for more but we don't keep track.
As a gentleman I couldn’t allow her to pay but I always great appreciate her offering to pay
I will never let any woman who offers to pay
pay for a date
My man always pays.
I pay for my homeless boy friend with the money I made from prostitution
I figure it's up to me to pay. But I don't mind if she wants to split the bill.
Where's Simpy Bill?
I'd love his take on this
A couple that has been together for a while presents a different type of opportunity for a weak beta male wimp who's interested in serving them. In recent years, dating sites have been launched that cater specifically to women, couples and occasionally even single men who are participants in the fin domme/pay pig lifestyle, which makes it more convenient and practical for interested parties to find one another.
@Billlewis
Hell yes! Thanks man. I'm a huge fan
😂😂 yeah I probably would.
But no, I just appreciate the humor
Never pay for more than coffee for a woman you are not having sex with. Fuck those foodie calls.
Whoever climax first has to pay.
We are working together and since we live together my girlfriend takes care for the financials. We have both a bankcard so for us doesn't matter who's paying.
Whoever brought their wallet pays.
He always pays.
I always pay. If she wants to split it or insists on paying that is fine. But I’m old fashioned and will always pick up the check.
