From my experience I have majorly seen backlash against Britanny Renner and other celebrity gold diggers such as the Clermont Twins, Celena Powell, etc for preying on rich men no matter their age. They are laughed at, harshly judged, and they don’t care, it’s all about the money.


The thing is with your argument in general I think is a bit biased and relatively outdated in this day and age. A 22 year old man dating a woman who’s also in their 20s is rarely (if at all) perceived as gross or predatory. It’s when you have women like Madonna who’s pushing 70 dating 23 and 29 year olds that becomes deemed as predatory, and trust me, no one is applauding that behavior. Same with women like Queen Cheryl, I believe she just turned 67 and met her husband when he was 19, younger than all of her children and to me that is what’s gross.


In any case, I believe this generation has become a lot more accepting to age gaps, it’s becoming so normalized and not the taboo it was when I was younger.

That’s the thing, I’m not one to generalize in certain situations, because I am not a voice for the masses, and my opinions don’t mirror those of every woman under the sun. So speaking from my own POV, yes, I would encourage my daughter or son to date within their age range, but then again I can’t dictate what their adult choices are, I can only hope to influence their decisions in a positive way, just like any parent would do.

I’m not taking time to publicly call out anyone for their life choices. I can disagree and have my own reservations without publicly condemning them. Despite the age gap, they are still adults at the end of the day, I don’t have to agree with their choices but that can be the case for many things.

By definition, intellectual conversations are simply discussions focused on stimulating ideas, exploring diverse perspectives, and critically examining various subjects to gain a deeper understanding of the world around us. My literal statement was that if you have no desire to step outside of your bias then that sort of conversation cannot take place.
