Guy asked me out then I didn’t hear from him for three days, he then messaged me today asking when I was meeting him, shall I leave it?

I matched with a guy and the chat was going really well. At the start of the week he asked to meet me today. Then I never heard from him again. I didn’t want to follow up with him because I had already sent a couple of messages in response to our last conversation so I didn’t want to seem too keen etc. He never replied and since it’s been three days I actually forgot we were supposed to meet today. There was no set time or place etc and since I haven’t heard from him I assumed it was a conversation that died off.

I’ve been out doing fun things all day and just got home, and saw he messaged me at some point today asking what time we were meeting. This has really annoyed me. Because he says nothing for three days then asks when I’m seeing him? I don’t expect to talk 24/7 but you’d think they would wonder and ask you when you are meeting at the very least the day before? Should I leave it?
