Why does everyone tell me how hot I apparently am but guys who I like don't talk to me?

Could it be it's because all the guys I like are shy? I'm in a subculture music wise and I go to a lot of shows. Guys look at me but they never speak to me. People always say these guys are shy and outcasts as am I but they can't all be right. Are people just lying to me?

You might not be putting out a friendly vibe. shy people, tend to look sort of closed off, which can look unfriendly. So, while it looks that way, it's just hard to understand that they're just shy

Shyness of course is, in direct correlations with confidence, so, if you're not confident in yourself, you won't be able to show your personality

People tell me I look sad a lot. Everytime I'm out I lose count on how many times I'm asked if I'm okay. I try to look happy but it never works, could that be a reason too?
