I’m a single guy, and I get so nervous walking to any store by myself because I feel like every girl there is judging me. Even though I am attractive, I feel like girls who are with their boyfriend just think I’m a loser for being single, or think I’m a loner. So I always go with friends and family. I can’t help but always think like this.
Spend more time outside of your residence. It can be outdoor activities, attending shows, getting a bite to eat, etc. You need to experience happiness that is generated by the choices you make and not be concerned with the thoughts of others.
the right answer is not the answer to your question. the right answer is: if you have social anxiety going to the stores, you go to the stores anyway.
don't use anxiety as a reason to avoid things that you need to be doing. cause the more you do this, the worse your anxiety will get and if you keep doing that, you will end up having to go to therapy.
so the only way to tackle social anxiety is by being more social despite the anxiety.
