Gotta choose one, even tho most people overlap. But which attributes do you find sexier?
Even though I'm a house wife rn, I'd NEVER date someone with "traditional views." That's basically a dog whistle for "I want to force everything/everyone to stay traditional" at this point. And yeah I may technically be in a traditional relationship dynamic, but that doesn't mean I wanna force my lifestyle on everyone else or their morally inferior.
Same with "family values." Obviously I value family, but I'd never say I have family values, bc now that just means "I wanna force all family to be traditional." Which I don't. I'm fine with non traditional families, they're cool, and I technically am in one of those too.

I read 'laid back' so beta, I love laid back people! There is too much stress in the world already! And that 'more style' doesn't make any sense to me.
If we're not going off the strict definitions laid out by wolves then we're admitting it needs adjustment for the way humans live. What you describe might have been accurate in the 80s but today too many "betas" have learned to fake the "alpha" attributes, thinking it will finally attract them a girl. I don't know what the real attributes are because the whole thing is too much like astrology to me. Just fuck the girls who want to get fucked and don't fuck the girls who don't want to get fucked. It barely requires thought.
Ideally, she should have one of each -- a sweet, generous celibate beta male to spoil her rotten, pay for her dates with other guys and basically just kiss her ass all the time, and a strong, handsome alpha male to provide the hard, pounding sex she so dearly needs.

So first everyone who actually believes in that crap is a no for me. Second from these descriptions I want a mix but if thats not possible the "alpha" is a red flag while the beta is just not perfect so beta by far.
This is much more complex.. this is a really AT LARGE picture of beta vs alpha poeple..
Quick fact... for the same academic level and type of personality
A lawyer will lead towards alpha type vs an accountant towards and beta type
Or
A Sell' s man.. alpha.. a teacher.. beta
Alpha's predominantly focus over pass all the goals fixed.. instead the beta definitely focus on being the most helpfull they can be in all the scenarios (they hate quantity but love quality)I don't think anybody is really one or the other, I think it is relative or depends on situations. These are more like stereotypes or cardboard cutouts than they are really how people are. I voted "alpha" since these are my only two options. I think the way it is worded, for example saying "beta" has more substance, is not something everybody would agree with. Some might say that a guy who lacks confidence also lacks substance and that is why he isn't confident. But you can view it different ways. Just in general I would not want to be with a guy who acted needy, always unsure of everything or scared a lot of the time, of course everybody is that way sometimes and that is OK, just not as a main personality trait. JMO!
Gosh! Is this old nonsense still floating around? smh
I wouldn't date any man that believes in that nonsense.
Per your update I'm not sure the redpilled crowed would completely agree with those being the attributes of each but it's been a while since anyone has explained to me redpill ideology. Something tells me you made this post to stir the pot. And based on the comments, it worked😂
Neither because men who use these terms literally contribute NO VALUE to a meaningful relationship with decent or respectable women.
If you pay attention the ONLY men who use these terms on social media, etc. and "alpha men" in particular are SURROUNDED by WHORES, SLUTS, etc who are ONLY with these douchebags with arrogant good for nothing personalities as they have money.
I find alpha males more attractive. In reality I want a little of both.
basically which group of guys is more attractive?
Henry Cavill, Chris Hemsworth, Jason Statham
or Michael Cera, Jesse Eisenberg, Jonah Hill
Listening is supposed to be a negative trait?
No wonder self-proclaimed alpha males keep getting rejected. Here’s a better question: Why is an almost 40 year old man still using the terms alpha and beta? GROW UP!!
I think a mix would be good
It's good to be dominant, but too aggressive is never that good plus I don't see any problem with being a good listener
I don't believe in alpha/beta men
Alpha male.
