Girls, what to do if you and your friend are crushing on the same guy?

My friend and I have a crush on the same guy, but she told me that he never really looked her way or even spoke to her.

Not to assume anything, but for three months, he's been looking my way and has been (possibly) making moves towards me as if he's interested in me.

I don't want to take away someone from her, but I really want him and I feel like he likes me as well.

What should I do?

Is your friend aware of your crush on him as well?

I think not, but did the "Get Your Crush" type of act for her before I knew she was talking about him.

I think you should start with telling your friend about your crush on him as well, that way it’ll be fair game.

That way if he does end up making a move on you then you wouldn’t come across as the bad guy trying to steal your friend’s crush away just for no reason. If your friend knows that you also have a crush on him, and you’ve still been supportive of her crush then it shows that you value your friendship with her

Your right, but it's still a slap to the face. How do I tell her?

Just tell her straight up, tell her how long you’ve also had a crush on him, tell her that despite you having the same crush on the same person you still want to support her. Does she still have a crush on him tho?

From what she told me, it seems like she just thinks he's just pretty to look at. But yes, she does I think.
