How could I shoot my shot at someone i’ve never talked to?

so i’ve noticed this guy in the hallway. i see him almost everyday but we have no classes or lunch together. i have talked to him once, but it meant nothing. my friend did say he checked me out though. that day just kinda spiraled everything and ever since we would make moments of eye contact almost every day. for example, just the other day i turned around and saw him looking at me. a couple weeks ago, i also zoned out looking at him, and his friends noticed it. one of his friends messed with his hair, and the others pointed at me. there’s also been a couple times where my crush would full on turn his head and make eye contact with me then turn around, and he also puffed his chest out. i want to talk to him more and get to know him, but since we really have no connection or time to talk, i was thinking about getting his number possibly. i’m not sure if it would be weird or not. another issue is that i want to talk to him in person instead of over text, but i don’t wanna openly ask him on a date right away.

This could totally work! I'd say go for passing him a note or something to break the ice. Slide it to him after one of those "looks" in the hall so he knows it's for him.

In the note, say something chill like "hey, I'm always seeing you around school and think you're cute. Want to maybe grab coffee after class sometime?" Then leave your number.

That way the ball's in his court to text you if he's interested. But since you've made eye contact a bunch, I bet he will! And meeting for coffee is super lowkey too so no pressure.

If you see him before he responds, just give him a little nod or smile. Play it cool like you're not stressing either way. Guarantee that confidence will intrigue him.
