ok well I’ll be honest. I do play hard to get because I don’t want guys to get the wrong impression. I don’t want them to think they can just slide cuz I don’t do that. I’ve been told that the right guy will persist if he likes you enough and that will be a sign that he wants something real. Has this gotten me anywhere? No. I’m in college and all guys wanna do is hookup. i get attention, but it’s the wrong attention. after observing hookup culture and just how feral men are, they kind of gross me out even though they are so hot. because most of them just view woman as a body with no soul. However, I am doing something wrong though because I haven’t had a boyfriend. I’ve had talking stages but the end when i tell them i don’t want to sleep with them (because we aren’t even dating!). it’s tough to find a guy who even wants to get to know me beyond what I look like. so i play hard to get to let them know I am not easy, I am not just a body.

No, I have met some girls who were wifey material and wanted to date seriously leading to wedding. But they disappeared when I talked about creating family, cooking, cleaning, raising kids and responsibilities. What is the issue? Is it a burden to modern women?
Have you considered the possibility that they simply did not want those things with you?

wife response: Most marriage material women do not play hard to get and if they are rejecting you it is because you are likely the problem. my husband has a phrase he uses a lot "if everyone gets along with each other but not you.. you are the common denominator meaning you are the problem" I absolutely wanted kids and I now have kids but had my husband brought up kids at any point early into our relationship I would have left. same with what my role would be. you don't bring those things up they happen naturally over time. when we became closer he asked if I wanted to work or stay home. I elected to stay home he didn't say anything else but from that point I started washing dishes, cleaning, taking care of the house to the best of my ability. he would do his part (mostly the physical labor tasks that I couldn't do) and would always help me with laundry, dishes and more if he was available. We never talked about kids not even when we were intimate for the first time, a few days after we happened upon a scenario that brought up the possibility of kids and his response was "if it happens it happens we'll cross that bridge together" sure enough when that did happen we did cross that bridge together. of course marriage girls want dates. it is romantic, sweet, it shows you as the man care and are putting in effort. it lets us get a sense of who you are as a person and if we can see a future with you.
They vet harder when they're taking it seriously. So the perfect guy will end up going through 20x's more shit tests than some fuck boy that is just allowed over for his penis. That guy gets the easy pass still... so that may make you consider if "her" perfect man is really just a beta bucks provider that's probably going to end up raising fuck boy's baby as his own kid.
Betas have it hard man... emotional tampons, sacrifices their money and time, deals with all those shit tests, and provides. But that's how they get their shot at making kids too. ... if he didn't have those struggles though...

But she wants to be sure the man will be there as a dad and not run away leaving her alone to fend for herself and the children. That would put her in a very vulnerable/stresful situation.
