I am not looking to make money on this but rather help out single in my local area including myself. I am thinking the following:
- Have a full verification system for both men and women. Includes verification of background checks and even (no hard pull) credit checks.
- Have an in person interview for each person to make sure they are legit.
- Have a private website where only verified members can login to see profiles of each other
- Have a no “hook up” rule where everybody must be at least semi interested in hanging out.
- Meet ups are weekly at must be something fun that women decide on and not men
- All meet ups must require an activity people engage in with no alcohol. It must something very creative.
There are millions of dating apps out there. But I am looking for something that pushes the social end first. It’s much harder to get some to get women involved in these things so there must be methods to make them feel safe and excited to attend.

Also thinking of having a “no dbag” clause everybody has to sign. In the clause nobody can insult each other or do crap to make other people jealous.
Need to think of something that hasn’t been done before and most importantly makes women comfortable.

Yo dude, this idea has potential for sure. Here are some other thoughts:
- Def do thorough verification like you said. Criminal/credit checks, photo verification. Mandatory profile info like job, school, interests.
- For meetups, do daytime stuff at first like park hangouts, hiking, art classes. Lower pressure than drinks.
- Build it in phases - soft launch just the website to get initial profiles/reviews. Then add supervised group hangs.
- Have an app too for easy comms. Could do chat first before connecting offline.
- Encourage mentorship - let long-time members vouch for trusted newbies to make everyone feel safer.
- Bring in food! Chuckwagon/icecream truck to day events keeps everyone fueled and having fun.
- Surveys after each event to get feedback, make adjustments. Keep it fresh.
- You moderate for a while til a good community forms, then bring others on as mods.
Could be really dope man. Just take it slow, focus on the social connection over hookups, and it'll grow organically from real relationships. Lemme know if you need help building it out!
That might be interesting. I had zero success with online and gave up on it more than five years ago. My batting average in person is not great, but I take a lot of swings so I get hits.
My analogy for dating apps it’s like a giant virtual sess pool with an occasional oasis. I had a lot of success using them in the past. But they have gotten worse and worse and worse in recent years.
