I’m 25 and he is 40. Is that too big of an age gap?

Me and him met at my job. I really like him but I don't know if I should date him. I get it that we are both grown but that gap is really big. Plus he has kids who are around my age and I don't know how they would feel about me. Can anyone give me advice on what to do? Good or bad is fine. Please and thank you❤️❤️❤️.

I think making decisions like this is better on your own. We don’t know much about him or you to make decisions. I think your biggest thing you need to do is be honest on if this is realistic for you and what you want out of a relationship. Don’t buy into potentials, don’t buy into the lust you have, don’t buy into the surface level things. Think deeply about this, take it day by day and time will tell if this relationship is a good situation for you

Probably. The odds of long term success ARE NOT on your side. Generally any gap larger than 9 years. The success odds drop off tremendously.

If he treats you good and totally respects you, that's all matters, and you want to make sure he just doesn't want sex. But I think the age gap is fine.

He would have fathered you at 15? I hate to break it to you but the things that you find attractive in men like money, status, and confidence take time for men to acquire so the guys who have these things will usually be older.

No I’m saying he’s around my parents age. I’m not comfortable with that. Plus he also has kids and I don’t. And I don’t care if he has all the money and status. I rather grow with someone around my age. So me and the person I’m growing with can learn and experience things together. And grow old together. At least 3-5 years max. I’m not looking for my father. Most people want to be with people around their age anyway. A lot of older men look terrible as they age and that’s also a turn off to a lot of us younger women. Men love to come at us women for “hitting the wall” but men do too! The grey hair, beer guts, etc is a turn off. But a lot of men are so delusional into thinking that they will always have more value as they get older but it’s not true!!! If u don’t have money u can forget it!
