Do you change yourself, or try to change another's values?

So, this is a relationship related question. Very often, especially amongst my generation, there is a huge peer pressure to change one's values and to be accepting to just about everything.

Here's one that's on the front lines. Female promiscuity.

There's the traditional value that women's chastity is important. If she's a whore, then she isn't wife material. In all honesty, I hold this value as well.

That isn't to say that I'm against women wanting men to not be whores. If she has that value, then cool.

My generation call it "sex positivity." But in all honesty it's a lack of self control, standards, and class. Maybe morals.

Those who try to change your values expect you to want a girl who's ran through, or uses OnlyFans. Typically it's "oh shit I lost my value so let's gaslight him as insecure or not a real man."

Do you change yourself, or try to change another's values?
