I wanted to ask different people about this.
Well to start off I would like to say I'm really dense, usually when people flirt with me I have to have one of my friends and one time my mom to tell they are flirting with me.
The problem is, I have a childhood friend, I've known him for 12 years(His my neighbor). I always seen him as a brother. But even thought I've known him so long my two best friend never met him until 6 months ago. After they met him they told me "I think he likes you", I ignored them and then they met again, and once again they told me "I'm not joking, I think he likes you".
A month after that, with my two best friends repeating it over and over I was a little more attentive. I was trying to see what they saw, I don't know if I was just being a little conscious but I started noticing some things. I noticed some things had change, like:
1) I ask him to give me water and I was expecting for him to tell me what he always tells me "I'm not standing up, go get it yourself" instead he stood up and got it for me.
2)The next thing was that he hated when I took his class notebooks and started drawing on them and always yelled at me. The last time I did it he sat down with me and just look at what I was drawing.
3) Another was when he was using his laptop and I was sitting next to him reading the newspaper and I was telling him we should go see a movie and he told me "no". Every time he answered he kept looking at the computer screen and nothing else and then I looked at him and said "You always tell me no!", he looked away from the computer screen and stared at me with a serious face and told me "Why don't you teach me to say yes?" and he didn't look away, I was a little nervous, I didn't know what he meant so I just looked away, after that all I heard was a "Tch".
4) I live in the last house up the hill and he lives in the last house down the hill. Our houses aren't that far apart but of all a sudden he started walking me home(Which he never did).
5) And the last one happened yesterday. My parents and his parents don't mind if we are alone in the house, but when he came to my house we sat in the living room talking, all of a sudden he asked me where my parent were and I told him they weren't in the house, he stared at me with a blank face and didn't react until I called out his name(This was a first, he always has a bored expression, ALWAYS). He stood up and told me he was leaving and that next time my parents weren't home he won't come and he also told me not to come when his parent weren't home either.
I don't know if his just changing or he likes me or I'm being to self conscious because of what my friends said. What do you guys think?
