It shouldn't matter, statistically relationships work the best if the man is the primary provider since it eliminates some frustration on who has to do what. People keep forgetting that being at home with children is an actual day job on its own, so men who are looking for a good mother aren't going to care about your career status, they care about how good of a mother you'd be. And those women are going to need a man who can give her the space to be a mother.
For the modern woman that is different, "I'm a strong independent woman and need no man" might be a mantra but if she has no family ambitions and a successful career it does hold up. To those women its going to be a matter of how compatible you both feel, but I don't think this translates into the guy dating her for her career. The only scenario where I see that making sense is if the guy has no career ambitions of his own and prefers to be the house man.
I don't think it is a problem for a woman to get involved with such a man.
I don't know why it would ever be an issue. I love a strong, intelligent, hard working, and successful man. My partner needs to be able to challenge me in every way, and I love a bit of competition. <3 That being said, some of them just have awful personalities, an that's the real issue.
They told me they didn’t feel adequate in comparison! 🫤 like what?
One told me she loved me too much to hold me back from better things. 🤦♂️
Yeah I’m a failure at that for sure
Success would mean age, since i don't think there are many successful eighteen year olds in my area. So yeah, I'd be put off by it. Hell, I got a bunch of texts from a 28 y/o on tinder once and it was really uncomfortable. I'd want to be with a dude at my level

His success is rather something for him than for me. It makes him more confident and realistic in his plans. And this is something I like in men :)
But such mindset can exist without a success in the background.
In general as long as he is able to pay his bills I don't care.
Unemployed or wealthy, it makes no difference to me. My husband didn't have a job when I first met him.
every man i date is more successful than me and i'm not a gold digger it's just that most people are more successful than me
What? Have u been living under a rock? A man should be more successful. He's supposed to be a leader, provider and protector
In a way yes. I wouldn't want it affecting the relationship but as long as he is okay with me making less than i guess its okay
don't care. not there for money. i actually make a bit more than my partner so.
Of course not.
Of course not, it's one of the primary things women seek in a man.
never heard of this myself
In what world would that function?
No. Not really.
Somewhat
