How can I get a first boyfriend at age 26 please help?

It’s impossible to get a boyfriend and I need help.
I never had a boyfriend. Since age 14 I began show interest in the boys I liked and I got rejected. Now barley since age 25 since septmeber I began finally for first time in my life get attention from many guys. Then decmeber 2023 my crush from job liked me back. It was first time a boy has ever liked me back in my entire life.

but after Christmas we have one month distance as we work different schedules so I can’t give him my number.

everyone in my family has a boyfriend or husband and I’m the only single person.

On dating apps all men want sex only or the ones that do want a girlfriend live far.

I work with many boys daily at job , many stare& show some interest , but I still can’t get a boyfriend. One girl ended up beating me & she won the boy that I liked as she talked to the guy first so I lost my chance wasn’t quick enough.
then crush , cannot see him anymore due to different shifts.

my one friend is also single.
my mom tried to help and give a young guy at her job my number and he never texted me back.
it’s imposible to get a boyfriend. 😓

It’s not impossible. Looks like you’re incredibly shy, maybe work towards being more confident? A lot of guys prefer confident women, maybe he was scared of rejection too. You still like the guy from your job? Make the initiative and ask him out. A close friend of mine asked out her now husband and they’re happily married with a baby on the way.

I didn’t get any attention from guys until I was about 16. I grew out of the awkward teenage phase (confidence came after I knew some guys I liked found me attractive). However, don’t base your confidence on how others perceive you. Don’t look for outside validation, because things can go south sometimes.

I get that you’re scared because of your past experiences with men, but if this guy from your job likes you, there isn’t anything wrong with shooting your shot.

Maybe gauge more info about him before you ask him out. Make a conversation with him, see if he responds positively and then make a judgment.

I told we we talked 3x decmeber. I spent his 10 min break with him sitting together like couple in decmeber. But aftr Christmas we no longer can see each other for one month now as we have different schedules. And only decmeber work was busy long hours which was reason we were able to talk n meet. But I want to see him aagin to give him my number. But no luck all month can’t reunite with him. He works Night Shift and I work morning shfit
